Schools today are navigating an increasingly complex digital landscape. While many schools have taken steps to ban or restrict smartphones use during school hours, to minimise distractions and promote focus, the social issues created by these devices often continue to affect students throughout the day. From online interactions that spill into the classroom to the pressures of social media and group messaging, the digital world remains deeply intertwined with students’ lives, even when their devices are tucked away. At Digital Tweens, we understand the vital role schools play in shaping responsible, tech-savvy children and young people. Schools are at the forefront of digital literacy and digital citizenship, equipping students with the knowledge and skills they need to use technology in ways that are positive, productive, and safe. We also recognise the importance of working in partnership with parents to create a cohesive, supportive approach to raising digitally literate and thriving young people.
At Digital Tweens, we are dedicated to helping schools address these and other challenges. We provide tailored support that complements the important work schools are already doing, ensuring that students can thrive both in their digital and non-digital lives.
We offer a comprehensive range of services for you to explore below.
Whilst our core focus is on the tween years (ages 9 to 12), we can easily adapt our content to suit the developmental needs of younger or older students. We can also modify our sessions to support students with additional needs and are happy to respond to specific requests from schools to cover topics that are most relevant to their students.

Our student workshops are engaging, interactive and empowering. We work with children and young people to build their understanding and confidence to make positive choices with technology that enhance rather than detract from achieving their goals and strengthen their wellbeing.
Schools play a key role in engaging parents in their child’s digital journey. We offer training and resources to help parents navigate their child’s use of technology at home, ensuring a united approach to digital literacy and wellbeing between home and school.
We also offer a regular newsletter that schools can share with parents. This newsletter provides timely advice, tips, and updates on digital parenting, helping schools support parents in staying informed and involved.
We provide professional development for teachers and school staff, equipping them with strategies to address the ongoing digital challenges their students face. Our training covers topics like fostering digital wellbeing, managing online conflicts, and supporting students' social-emotional needs in a tech-driven world.
In addition to training, we develop and provide a range of resources that schools can use to support their students' digital literacy and wellbeing. These resources are designed to be practical, engaging, and easy to integrate into the school environment.
